Day retreat Details
Meeting in Fareham at 6am we travel as a group (via coach/minibus) to Stonehenge for private access visit within the circle at 7.30am.
You are welcome to have time within the circle for self reflection and meditation, yoga practice and a chance to take photos. We will close the private access with a group yoga/meditation class depending on the energy of the group on the day and the weather.
Weather permitting we will gather in our own circle on the lawn near the stonecircle at 8.30am for a group Yoga class.
At 10am will be arrive at a local café for breakfast (not included in price) there are vegan and vegetarian options available.
After a yummy breakfast we continue our journey to Avebury which is the feminine site to the masculine energy of Stonehenge. There will be the chance for Yoga, meditation under the beautiful wishing tree, grab lunch at the Red Lion (not included in the price) shopping/ice cream in the local shops.
The sacred site of West Kennet Long Barrow is a short up hill hike with beautiful views at the summit of the rolling hills and Silbury Hill. Within the barrow we will pause for chanting and meditation (if you have singing bowls/rain sticks or sacred drums please bring these along).
£60 per person includes private access to Stonehenge, Yoga classes and transport to and from Fareham.

Meet Your Host
Rachael started teaching Yoga in 2012 having first found Yoga in 1999.
Rachael believes Yoga is for everybody to enjoy and experience.
Rachael has visited Stonehenge and Avebury multiple times since she was a child, sunrise open access during the Pagan festivals as a teenager and during teacher training with Shiva Rea. There is always a connection with the energies of these sites for her which encouraged Rachael to offer these day retreats.
2018 marks her third annual day retreat to Stonehenge, Avebury and West Kennet Long Barrow.
